Here at Brockett's Film Fauna, Inc. we provide healthy happy animals for film, television, print ads and other occasions. While we specialize in reptiles we do have a number of other animals like small wild cats, all kinds of birds, parrots, chickens, pigeons, butterflies, insects, spiders, frogs etc. We also provide dogs and cats. In fact we provide the dogs and cats for the Petco flyers. We provide qualified trainers and are recognized by American Humane Association as a professional company. (AHA)

We also rescue a lot of animals. Most of our alligators are rescued as are many of our snakes, tortoises, bobcats, birds and a capybara. They come from animal control and the Department of Fish & Game. As we are one of the few permitted facilities in California, we end up with MANY of these otherwise illegal animals. If permitted facilities do not take these animals they are euthanized.

We provide rattlesnake safety service. We can provide you with trained professional trainers to help protect your cast and crew from rattlesnakes when filming in remote locations. Your safety people and insurance company will take note that you have done everything possible to provide a safe working environment for your employees. We are probably the only company that provides this service that has liability insurance.

We can also provide your company with anti venom when working with venomous snakes.

Jim Brockett is the herpetological consultant for Natural Balance Pet Food Company where we have developed an all beef sausage for snakes and lizards. This is a complete nutritional diet for reptiles that includes all the vitamins and minerals necessary for healthy reptiles.
